Tender or Proposal For Procuring 2,50,000 Rifle of 7.62 X 51 mm From Foreign Industry.

Army is planning to buy new 7.62×51 mm foreign Rifle for combat infantry. Rest non combat troops will get 5,50,000 Indian rifles either OFB INSAS MK1C or OFB GHATAK Rifle. These are the probable contenders. This is not official but mostly these will contest in tender.
